'Kommunikatze' discusses the possibility of building up an international visual language based on common visual symbols such as traffic signs and trademarks.
The global visual flow has grown to such an extent that it's impossible to escape it. At the same time there's been a growing ability to read, to adapt and to analyze different visual material, particularly in western countries.
This book contains a brief history of the development of orientational signs and trademarks. There is an introduction to classical theories of communication in semiotics. The development and grammar of other languages is also compared to Kommunikatze - a visual language.
The main purpose of this text is to be a theoretical ground for the development of the Kommunikatze language, computer program and website.
The book is written in Finnish language.
